WELCOME TO MY BLOG

Welcome to my blog! My name is Isioma, and I’m a storyteller. My stories are inspired by my endless search for joy, equity and justice. These stories are a mosaic of my experiences as a global citizen, physician, surgeon and womxn’s* well-being advocate. I write about identity, practising medicine, well-being, health, social change, self-leadership and discovering my raison d’etre whilst staying grounded in my authenticity.

I hope you stick around to learn more.

Fortnightly blogs are released on Wednesdays.

* I use the term womxn to refer to individuals assigned female at birth who may identify as women, non binary or trans gender.

Echi Di Ime is an Igbo proverb which literally translates as '“ tomorrow is pregnant”. It means ‘ no one knows tomorrow’.

It is a personal proclamation of hope in the face of uncertainty.
